6+ years leading AI, software, and systems work for federal customers in secure environments.
AI engineering for mid-market companies.
Helix is led by Heath Gerrald, a technical founder who works directly with each customer. Heath connects the systems a business already runs, finds the AI opportunities worth building, and ships the tools, agents, and automations into the real workflow.

Mid-market companies need AI systems that fit the way they work.
Many leaders know AI should matter to the business. The hard part is deciding what to build first, getting access to the right systems, and making the tool work where the team already does the work.
Helix handles that job directly. Heath sits close to the business, learns how work moves, builds the first systems himself, and keeps improving them until the engagement pays for itself.
Heath builds with the people who run the business.
Heath has 6+ years of experience leading AI, software, and systems work for federal customers in secure environments. He has briefed technical products to executives, worked across engineering and customer-facing delivery, and now brings that same operating style to mid-market companies.
He is an MBA candidate at UNC Kenan-Flagler, holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson. He also hosts Carolina Business Leaders, where he has interviewed 50+ Greenville founders, operators, and executives.

Find the metric
We name the business result the work has to move: response time, cost per load, revenue, missed exceptions. One number, agreed before anything gets built.
Ends with: One named numberConnect the systems
Helix reads the tools that already hold the answer. Finance, CRM, email, messaging, bank data, and the industry software your team lives in.
Ends with: Live read accessBuild the workflow
Heath builds around the real process: the data, the handoffs, the approvals, the edge cases, and the people who have to trust it.
Ends with: A system in productionMeasure ROI
The work continues through rollout. Helix reports whether the number moved.
